Evolution
Inspired by the British hobnail boot originally worn by miners in the 1950’s, Comrade launches an evolutionary range of distinctive footwear with a rugged urban flavour.

Engineering
Easy wearing, protective and light on your feet, Comrade boots are engineered for the sneaker generation. There are currently 4 men’s styles in the range; Wallace, Tizona, Excalibur and Robin Hood. Finishes come in a choice of lush waxy, pull up tan and chocolate brown leather, waxy full grain black leather, white and tan reverse leather/ suede and a chocolate brown reverse leather/ suede.

Construction
Construction consists of a polyurethane midsole, colour-separated rubber bottoms and fully lined leather uppers with leather randing. The sports footbed offers added comfort with security provided by ProtectiveNylon 65 toe and heel caps manufactured in car component factories. (Nylon 72 is the UK crash helmet safety standard).

Basically, you can drop a brick on them and you won’t feel it.

Justin Deakin
Comrade is the creation of award-winning designer/ entrepreneur Justin Deakin and his team. With his incisive original vision and a finger firmly on the pulse of change, Justin remains at the forefront of international footwear design and conception. He has produced ranges for his own shoe labels, most notably Stride and General Public, and as a consultant to other brands for as long as he can remember. Clients include Schuh, French Connection, Paul Smith, Donna Karan, Caterpillar and Dr. Martin to name but a few.
